ILLIGAL
At the Illinois Genetic Algorithms Laboratory (IlliGAL),
we study the fundamental problem solving approach of nature:
evolution.
MSU
GARAGE
The MSU Genetic Algorithms Research and
Applications Group (the GARAGe) is a multi-disciplinary unit
interested in the application of Genetic Algorithms and Genetic
Programming to real-world problems, as well as fundamental research on
GA and GP.
MACHINE
LEARNING GROUP AT UNIVERSITY OF TORINO
The Machine Learning group at the Dipartimento di
Informatica of the University of Torino is part of a larger research
group on Artificial Intelligence, and is active since 1984.
NNGA
GROUP AT DKFZ
The NNGA group at DKFZ is applying and developing
Artificial Neural Networks and Genetic Algorithms in the field of
molecular biology.
NEURO

THE
GENETIC ALGORITHMS GROUP AT GEORGE MASON UNIVERSITY
Under the direction of Kenneth A. De Jong, the
Genetic Algorithms Group (GAG) at George Mason University in Fairfax,
Virginia is comprised of students, faculty, and representatives from
local industry who share an interest in genetic algorithms and other
forms of evolutionary computation. Group members are working on a
variety of research projects including GA theory, coevolutionary
algorithms, decentralized GAs, representation issues, the application
of GAs to molecular biology, and GA-based machine learning.
